EV Charging Cable Modifications

At AIMAC Electronics we can help you out with your charging leads or cables for your EV should you wish to have a fast charging cable at home which is set up like a caravan plug at the house end.

Type 1

• Approximately $200 + GST to make
• Caravan plug is $70
• Transformer is $20 and takes approximately 1 hour to make
• 110v transformer in Gen 1 which needs replaced
• EV Plug can be cutoff and new caravan plug wired in
• Note: you need to check you have a 20 amp circuit breaker in house. Will need a 2.5mm wiring single load done by an electrician

Type 2

• Approximately $200 + GST to make
• Type 2 cable are ok, however they have a temperature gauge which needs to be carefully saved and rewired in
• Note: you need to check you have a 20 amp circuit breaker in house. Will need a 2.5mm wiring single load done by an electrician
